Letters for Juliet

A poem about the letters people still write to a woman we never truly knew — and the belief that love, once real, never fades.
A city
that kisses my gentle soul
with its past.
Carried by a faith,
a hope in love.
Letters written
to a woman
we never knew —
because time
would not allow it.
Yet unforgotten lines
gave her a voice.
And still,
to this day,
people write to her.
Baring their souls.
Revealing
what they feel.
Because nothing
is longed for more,
and nothing
heals like this:
true love.
A city
bound to the essence
of our hearts.
A city
that gave my heart a home
I never knew
could hold
this gentle soul of mine
so completely.
