Where Victory Is Born

A poem about quiet strength — the unseen hours, the falls no one applauds,
and the courage to rise when no one is watching.
The world may see
the final move,
the roar,
the run,
the winning groove —
but never the mornings,
quiet and grey,
where the heart
first learned
it wouldn't break.
Behind every roar
the world can hear,
a thousand silent hours
disappear —
the ones
no camera ever knew,
where quiet hearts
became the few.
For greatness
isn't born in light,
but in the hours
out of sight —
in all the falls
no one applauds,
in staying soft
against the odds.
That is where
victory
is born.
