The One — Only You

  • Apr 1
  • 2 min read

A cinematic poem about love, destiny and

the quiet moment you realise someone is everything

you were never even looking for.

One look

into your eyes is enough

to know

that you are everything

I ever wanted.

One moment

is enough—

and the heart knows

this is forever.

One moment is enough

and I know

that I was meant to find you—

even though

I was never looking.

One moment is enough

to see

that all the happiness,

all the love,

lives within you.

One moment—

they say

love makes you blind.

But what if

I can see

that my happiness

is in your eyes?

A moment of our existence—

unforgettable.

Because from now on,

my heart belongs to you.

I didn’t want to trust you.

I didn’t want

to look too deeply

into your eyes.

I didn’t want

to believe in love.

And yet—

I can’t help it.

I’m losing my heart

to you.

I knew it

from the very first moment

you walked into the room.

I knew it—

that I would never leave this place

the same.

I knew it

that a part of my heart

belongs to you now.

I’m lost.

Damn…

I’m screwed.

Because it’s you.

Only you.

And from now on—

there will be no one else.

My heart is yours.

Only yours.

And I knew it.

And I can’t say

that I don’t love this feeling—

of having found

the heart

that beats

in rhythm with mine.

It’s you.

And I love you.

Only you.
