Mirror of Truth & Shadows of the Heart

Some truths don’t set you free.
They ask something from you.
Inspired by Young Sherlock,
When the mind
begins to unravel
the secrets of the world,
only one question remains —
should we
let the heart speak,
when morality
is our compass?
Some truths
seduce the mind,
quiet our restless curiosity
the moment we uncover them.
And yet —
they hold the power
to break the heart
when we step closer
to the horizon of truth,
far beyond
our idealised hopes.
A mind
so sharp,
so experienced —
and a heart
so young,
so unaware.
Will you stand
on the side of truth,
even if your heart
shatters?
You feel
what love is —
and yet
your mind
cannot understand it.
You believe
you know what you feel.
Thoughts
build castles,
reaching into the sky
of human mystery.
Are we drawn
to each other —
or merely shaped
by the echoes
of our past?
A past
that did not stay
in memory,
but continues
to live
within the heart.
What if
the ghosts of yesterday
are chasing you —
hidden behind
your sharpness,
seducing your heart
only to bind it
in chains?
Will you have the courage
to trust your heart
and look
into the depths
of reality?
Will morality guide you —
or will you one day
yield
to human vanity?
And what about love?
Will you recognise it —
in the quiet tenderness
of a stranger’s presence?
You cannot know
the answers yet.
But you will see them.
You will recognise them.
In the mirror of truth —
the one
that asks you
to look
deep into your heart.
