Be Love

A poem about the quiet strength of being human.
A piece of cinematic poetry about
the quiet voice within us — the one
that reminds us who we truly are.
Go within yourself
for just one moment
and pause time.
Maybe you will hear it —
your heart
that beats for love.
Maybe you will feel it —
your soul
that knows the way.
And if you hear it,
promise me something:
Today
look into the mirror
just once —
and recognise
what a wonderful human being you are.
There is no one like you.
You exist only once in this world.
And when you let your heart speak,
that is all that truly matters.
You are love.
You are beautiful imperfection.
Because none of us are perfect —
but what does that matter?
We are wonderful
just as we are.
And deep within our hearts
we are still children.
Trust what feels right.
Be a careful listener.
Be the strong shoulder
someone can lean on.
Be the parachute
and the rock in the storm
when all hope seems to shatter.
Be someone’s world.
Hold on
to the people who love you.
Because with love
we can only win.
Be the person
who is there for others
without forgetting yourself.
Be the great heart
and the gentle soul
you see
when you truly
look into the mirror
and recognise
how wonderful you are.
Be what you are.
Be what we all are.
The thing that holds us together
and lets us hope
for a more beautiful
and kinder world.
Be love.
Because you are love.
